Immersion Retreats in Italy

In Verona, I offer private one-on-one immersion retreats for writers, actors, creatives, and seekers looking for depth, clarity, and sustained engagement in their work.

These retreats are designed as a contained, individualized experience – part mentorship, part creative residency – shaped around the needs, rhythm, and creative needs of the participant.

Overview

These private immersion retreats unfold in a city long associated with story, memory, and transformation. Here, the work is quiet, focused, and deeply personal – shaped over five days, in conversation with place.

Who This is For

• Writers working on memoirs, essays, novels, screenplays, or hybrid forms
• Actors seeking a deeper connection to text, voice, and inner life
• Creatives in periods of transition or reorientation
• Seekers who work best outside of group settings

You do not need to identify as a writer or actor. Writing is used as a primary tool of inquiry, alongside reflection, conversation, and embodied exploration.

Structure of the Retreat

Duration: 5 consecutive day, 4-6 hours per day
Format: One-on-one
Location: Verona, Italy (with excursions to surrounding regions)

Each day includes:

• A guided morning session (writing or creative inquiry)
• Individual work time (writing, rehearsal, reflection)
• Afternoon mentoring conversation and/or craft exploration
• Time for rest, integration, or place-based exploration

The structure remains flexible and responsive, allowing the work to unfold organically.

Parallel Private Immersion Option

On occasion, two friends or colleagues may book private immersion retreats during the same week. Each participant engages in a fully private, one-on-one retreat experience.

• Pricing remains the same as the solo immersion rate.
• This option is limited to a maximum of two participants.
• There are no shared sessions or group processes.

Private immersion retreats are priced by container, not by hour.

Tuition & Payment
• European Union (EUR): €2,500
• United States / International (USD): $3,000

A non-refundable deposit is due at registration
• EUR deposit: €1,000
• USD deposit: $1,000

The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the retreat start date.

Tuition includes all private sessions and retreat programming. Accommodations, travel, and meals are not included, allowing participants flexibility in choosing lodging that best suits their needs.

Scheduling & Availability

Private immersion retreats are scheduled by arrangement and offered on a limited basis each year.
